When people interact in a social sports environment, many of the formal workplace barriers are broken down. People are less inhibited and learn more about one-another, their backgrounds and generally begin to feel a little bit more comfortable about their colleagues.
Sportsman Events prides itself on being the leading provider of Sports Days in South Africa for the past 17 years. We have catered for groups of 20 to 2000.
In order to aid this social interaction we select social sports like soccer, netball, touch rugby, volleyball, cricket or any other sport and provides a platform by which the aims and objectives of the client are achieved. Naturally a tight rein is kept on over-competitive behavior.
What about the Non-sporty we hear you say? There really is no excuse for a person not getting involved at a corporate sports day. Teams need managers, cheerleaders, supporters and at worst someone to support the hospitality tent!
Pitches, greens, courts and courses are all carefully selected for their ambiance and proximity to your resort, conference or work facilitates. Our own staff referees prepare the draw (chosen randomly or based on team selections provided by you), referee the games and provide the medals to be awarded to the winning teams.
Sports Days, featuring the same or a different sport each year, can develop into an annual contest, with teams competing for a perpetual trophy – a great way to encourage team spirit.
